We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our team. This critical position will involve managing and automating the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of our applications, ensuring seamless integration and delivery throughout the entire development lifecycle. Additionally, proficiency in AWS cloud services will be a significant advantage for excelling in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code releases.
Automation: Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to streamline operations and increase productivity.
Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications.
Security: Ensure the security of our cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and conducting regular security audits.
Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Documentation: Write and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the ongoing innovation and efficiency of our tech stack.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a related role.
AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with a variety of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk. AWS certification is a plus.
CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Scripting Languages: Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
Versioning System: Familiarity with Git and code versioning tools.
Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have:
Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Configuration Management: Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Azure Cloud: Experience with Azure cloud services is an added advantage.
AI/ML Interest: Enthusiasm and some experience with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
